Season Preview: Your guide to the arts in 2026

The Bowral Autumn Music Festival (BAMF) has announced its 2026 program. The third under the artistic leadership of pianist Vatche Jambazian, this year’s festival is being held on 26–29 March and features six performances, a world premiere and a host of Australian musicians.

BAMF begins with a Thursday performance from Trio Henri, comprising Michael Ierace, oboist Celia Craig and bassoonist Ben Hoadley. Trio works by Henri Brod, Joe Chindamo and André Previn feature in a program anchored by Britten’s Temporal Variations and a bassoon sonata from William Hurlstone.

For the second concert, organist and Director of Music at St Mary’s Cathedral, Daniel Justin, joins tenor Richard Butler and the St Mary’s Boy Choristers for a program of Gregorian chant, organ improvisations and works by Bach, Palestrina and de Victoria.
