Creative Australia has announced the recipients of its international funding programs, including the International Travel Fund, International Engagement Fund and International Touring and Presentation Fund. 

Across the fields of performing, visual and community arts, $2.15m has been granted to 71 projects from both organisations and individuals.

Blakdance will travel to Dusseldorf to participate in Tanzmesse, the largest international contemporary dance meeting. Other funding highlights include JOLT Sonic and Visual Arts, working on a cross-cultural collaboration at Japan’s Supernatural Deluxe and OzAsia Festival’s writing exchange program with Singapore Writer’s Festival.

The Sydney Opera House and Adelaide Festival Centre trusts, the Fremantle Biennale, Powerhouse Youth Theatre, Moogahlin Performing Arts and Melbourne’s First Nations arts festival Yirramboi are among those receiving support from the International Engagement Fund.

Recipients of the International Touring and Presentation fund include Melbourne’s Chamber Made, Patch Theatre, Sensorium Theatre, Gravity & Other Myths, and dance companies Lucy Guerin Inc, Stephanie Lake Company, Critical Path and Joel Bray Dance.
