Conductor Riccardo Chailly has extended his recording contract with Decca Classics for a further fiveyears.
In addition to re-signing the Italian maestro, the label has also reached a new agreement with the Chailly-led Gewandhausorchester. Potential upcoming projects include a new cycle of Brahms symphonies, the Konzertmusik by Hindemith and the Verdi Requiem.
