In the Choral category for Work of the Year, two works premiered by Sydney Chamber Choir and conductor Sam Allchurch make the cut: Brooke Shelley’s Heavenly Father and Heather Percy’s “lilting lullaby” Three Night Songs. Meta Cohen’s Swerve sets the stories of an experienced Goulburn Valley Pride volunteer to voices and strings, and Stuart Greenbaum’s major choral symphonic work, Symphony No. 5, Brought to Light, continues his collaboration with writer Ross Baglin.
