The season opens with One. Two. Three. Four. Five on 29 March – a program featuring five works (from solo to quintet) performed by five leading Sydney musicians from the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Violinists Ike See and Lerida Delbridge, violists Stefanie Farrands and Justin Williams and cellist Eliza Sdraulig star in works by Garth Knox, Mozart, Bach and Martinů before banding together for Dvořák’s Third String Quintet.
After collecting the 2025 ARIA Award for Best Classical Album, Andrea Lam unleashes her “interpretive depth and virtuosic prowess” in a recital on 28 June. With Schubert’s Piano Sonata in A Major is its cornerstone, Lam’s program features works by Bach, Clara and Robert Schumann, Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn, as well Melody Eötvös’s Bachram, a work specially written for Lam.

In an exclusive Sydney performance, soprano Siobhan Stagg and pianist Jonathan Ware bring a “tapestry of ancient and modern worlds” to HHM on 10 October. With selections from Haydn’s The Creation and Brett Dean’s In this Brief Moment, as well as Fauré’s Chanson d’ Eve and music from von Bingen, the program delves various musical perspectives on humanity and the origin of life.
In 2026, Scottish-born accordionist James Crabb takes a break from ferrying Holly Harrison’s brand new Accordion Concerto around Australian orchestras to perform a solo Hunters Hill Music recital on 29 November. He brings the series to a close with a program that spans from the Baroque to the contemporary, featuring works by Bach, Rameau and modern composers.
