Creative Australia has announced that La Boite Theatre and Performing Lines will join the National Performing Partnership Arts Framework from 2025-2028, providing both organisations with significant, multi-year funding.

In 2025, La Boite will receive $650,000 under the Partnership Framework, while Performing Lines has been granted $965,150.

“We are delighted to welcome La Boite and Performing Lines to the National Performing Arts Partnership Framework,” said Creative Australia CEO Adrian Collette.

“The addition of these two new entrants will help to enrich Australia’s cultural landscape, offering audiences across Australia a wealth of diverse and transformative performances that inspire, provoke, and captivate.”

In 2025, Brisbane’s La Boite also celebrates its 100-year anniversary, and holds the title of the longest continuously-running theatre company in Australia. It focuses on the presentation of new works, and offers artist development programs and opportunities for emerging theatremakers. It is the seventh Queensland organisation to join the Partnership Framework.
