Season Preview: Your guide to the arts in 2026

Live at Yours has announced its 2026 season, four intimate programs designed to bring audiences closer to the music.

Touring to Sydney, Melbourne, Castlemaine and UKARIA in the Adelaide Hills, the season showcases three international guest artists, a bespoke trio of Australian musicians and two surveys of fine French music.

Opening the season across 10–23 March, Russian-Italian violinist Sergej Krylov and pianist Konstantin Shamray present Electrifying Encounter. Including Ravel’s Tzigane, Saint-Saëns’ Rondo Capriccioso and a Franck sonata, the program highlights the “fire and lyricism” of French Romantic composers.

French works take the spotlight again in L’Enigme Française (30 May–7 June) which also sees the Australian debut of celebrated French pianist Lucas Debargue. In a solo recital, Debargue serves up works by Faurè, Ravel and Delplace an offers his own spin on Gershwin’s Summertime.

Male soprano Maayan Licht also makes his Australian debut in Coloratura Queen from 9–14 August. Joining forces with harpsichordist Chad Kelly and a baroque band. Licht will sing arias by Vivaldi, Hanel and Porpora in a signature style Live at Yours describes...
