Matteo Bocelli will headline his first Australian headline tour in 2024, beginning on 24 March with a concert at the Sydney Opera House before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.

The second son of the legendary Tuscan tenor Andrea Bocelli and his first wife Enrica Caenzatti, Matteo, 26, performed his first show at the age of 18 in Rome’s Colosseum. Since then, he has toured the world bringing a blend of opera, classical, pop melodies performed in several languages, including English and Italian.

Ahead of the release of his eponymous debut album, Matteo released several singles including a collaboration with Ed Sheeran, Chasing Stars. “I remember seeing him in concert,” Matteo told People magazine. “He was opening for Taylor Swift in Toronto. So you can imagine how I feel to have a song of his on my first album. It’s pretty cool and exciting.”
