Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC) has revealed its 2025 program, 13 productions of international hits, Australian premieres and homegrown landmarks.
Each show, says Artistic Director Anne-Louise Sarks “will do what only theatre can do: put you there in the room, with actors and audience, sharing a special experience that exists only for one night.”

The season begins on 24 January with the return of a standout success from Season 2024: Nathan Maynard’s 37. A co-production with Queensland Theatre, 37 is a high-energy, humorous yet unflinching look at AFL, one the examines the joys of community and mateship while factoring in the high price of winning.
