Mozart has seemingly solved the crime problem plaguing a Christchurch shopping mall.
The mall, situated in New Zealand’s second largest city, began playing the Austrian master’s music over loudspeakers in mid-2009. Since then, the number of antisocial incidents has drastically decreased, according to security guards. Police agree that the area has been transformed by this change to its sonic landscape.
