The Australian Music Centre has announced that composer, pianist and producer Nat Bartsch will deliver the 2024 Peggy Glanville-Hicks Address.

Hosted at Melbourne’s Hanson Dyer Hall on 2 December, the event will also see the world premiere performances of this year’s MOMENTUM Commissions, written by Christine Pan and Aaron Wyatt.

In her address, Bartsch will discuss neurodiversity in music; sharing how her own late diagnosis of autism and ADHD “has shaped her music and career”.

“Nat Bartsch is a model of passion and perseverance, allowing her neurodiversity to become a generative power in a sustainable and entrepreneurial career,” said Catherine Haridy, CEO of the Australian Music Centre. “We are honoured to have Nat share her experiences for the Peggy Glanville-Hicks Address 2024 and her advocacy for neurodiversity in music.”
