Live Performance Australia (LPA) has announced Eric Lassen as its incoming CEO. He will take up the position from Evelyn Richardson, commencing in January 2025.

Lassen is a former CEO of PayPal Australia and also senior Vice President and Deputy General Council at Live Nation Australia from 2007–2021. During that time, he served as Chair of the Board of Directors for Music Forward Foundation, a Live Nation non-profit that offers career and artistic development programs for disadvantaged youth.

“I am delighted to be taking up this role and look forward to working with LPA’s Executive Council and team to support our Members across the live arts and entertainment industry,” said Lassen.

“Australia is home to some of the world’s best creative talent and arts and business leaders, and I’m keen to work alongside them in building and advocating for a sustainable, successful and growing industry which will excite, engage and entertain current and future generations of Australian and international audiences.’”
