St George’s Cathedral has unveiled its 2026 Concert Series, Beauty in Holiness, a season designed to fuse artistic excellence with spiritual resonance inside one of Western Australia’s most significant cultural and heritage landmarks.
From March to November, the program highlights large-scale collaborations, rising talent and landmark sacred works, anchored by the organ artistry of Dr Joseph Nolan, the Cathedral’s Master of Music.

The season opens with Gloria, the acclaimed multidisciplinary work that premiered at the Heath Ledger Theatre in 2022 to five-star reviews, including from Limelight, and went on to win Best Main Stage Performance at the 2023 WA Performing Arts Awards. In March, Nolan will travel to Wellington to conduct Gloria at the New Zealand Festival with Co3, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and New Zealand Voices – a high-profile international outing that further raises Western Australia’s artistic profile.
