Eleven composers from Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand have been named as the recipients of this year’s Art Music Fund. They will each receive a $7,500 (AUS) grant towards the commission of a proposed work.
The Art Music Fund is an initiative of APRA AMCOS, presented in partnership with the Australian Music Centre and SOUNZ Centre for New Zealand Music.
This year’s recipients are: Sia Ahmad, Eve de Castro-Robinson, Cameron Deyell, Dominik Karski, Peter Knight, Anna Liebzeit, Nathaniel Otley, Christine Pan, James Rushford, Emily Sheppard, and Mindy Meng Wang and Monica Lim.

The funding they receive will support a broad range of projects, addressing themes including ecological impacts and ocean sound, 3D sound, Chinese rituals and beliefs, gender identity and faith.
