Season Preview: Your guide to the arts in 2024

UKARIA has announced its August–November 2024 season, revealing nine new performances set to grace the Adelaide Hills venue.

“At the heart of our program are the artists who inspire us. These discoveries happen in all sorts of places and are often outside of the major concert halls of Europe,” said UKARIA founder Ulrike Klein and CEO Alison Beare.

The season kicks off on 3 August with a performance by the Kristin Berardi Quartet. Comprising pianist Andrea Keller, bassist Sam Anning and saxophonist Julien Wilson under the lead of the Swiss-based jazz vocalist, the quartet will perform specially-composed works and compositions from across Berardi’s recorded catalogue.

On 11 August, pianist Paavali Jumppanen and violinist Jakub Jakowicz explore duo works by Schubert and Bacewicz, and will be joined by the Australian String Quartet for a grand finale with Chausson’s Concert for Violin, Piano and String Quartet.
