Roderick Williams, Ben Mingay and Simon Tedeschi are amongst the artists gracing the festival’s seventh edition.

Ross Fiddes discusses his new work for soprano and piano, using words by poet Derek Dowding, which premieres next week at the Newcastle Music Festival.

It may have taken Ross Fiddes 36 years to get around to it, but with Love Stories, he seems to be making up for lost time.

In the Festival’s third year, the Omega Ensemble are the performers in residence, joining a bill that includes Ray Chen, Tamara-Anna Cislowska and Deborah Humble.
