Brett Sheehy reveals his final season for MTC, which features 11 productions, six of them Australian and five from the UK and US, including the world premiere of an Australian boutique musical.

After cancelling two new productions, Cyrano and Sunday, Melbourne Theatre Company will receive $5 million from the Federal Government's COVID-19 Arts Sustainability Fund.

Artistic Director Brett Sheehy has described the decision as the “the dreaded conclusion to an incomprehensible year for MTC".
