Baroque on the Hill – An Evening of Johann Sebastian Bach brings internationally recognised baroque violinist Madeleine Easton and Brisbane harpsichordist Peter Roennfeldt together for an evening devoted entirely to J.S. Bach.

Set in the atmospheric surrounds of heritage-listed St Brigid’s Church, Red Hill, the programme moves between Bach’s music for solo violin, solo harpsichord and violin with harpsichord. Highlights include the Partita No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1004, culminating in the monumental Chaconne, the French Suite No. 5 in G major, BWV 816, and the Sonata No. 3 in E major for Violin and Harpsichord, BWV 1016.
