Australian National Academy of Music: En Pointe with the Australian Ballet School
2 June @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm AEST

The Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) continues its collaboration with The Australian Ballet School through the national ARTS8 initiative, bringing together some of Australia’s most talented emerging dancers and musicians.
This performance presents a new work by choreographer Lucas Jervies, created in partnership with ANAM. Under the direction of Yoram Levy (Head of Brass, ANAM Faculty), ANAM Brass will perform Paul Terracini’s Gegensätze live on stage with students of The Australian Ballet School.
Presented as part of Arts Centre Melbourne’s Morning Melodies program, this event offers audiences the opportunity to see young artists from two of Australia’s leading training institutions perform side by side, uniting the disciplines of music and dance in a spirit of collaboration.
