Sydney Opera House: Erika de Casier with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Yawning Portal
23 May @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm AEST

“One of the most influential pop artists of the moment” (NME), Portuguese-born, Danish-based singer-songwriter Erika de Casier has quietly become one of modern music’s key architects since her 2019 debut album, Essentials. The critically acclaimed Sensational (2021) and Still (2024) followed, alongside collaborations with the likes of Dua Lipa, Blood Orange and Shygirl, and writing and production work for NewJeans’ number one smash EP Get Up, all culminating in last year’s breakthrough, Lifetime. Written and produced entirely by de Casier, the album was named among 2025’s best by Pitchfork, The Guardian, Vogue, The FADER and many more, and took her on her biggest headline stages to date, opening for sold-out shows with Lorde and Robyn.
For her Sydney Opera House debut, de Casier will perform her sleek genre-defying catalogue with players from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
