Ahead of its Mexican tour, Bangarra Dance Theatre presents FuturesPast in Wollongong, an Australian-exclusive drawing on the choreographic career of its Artistic Director, Mirning woman Frances Rings, as well as the company’s 36 years of creative and cultural songlines. Structured in three acts – Old World, People and Country – Rings’ work traces the challenges faced by First Nations people, celebrating the resilience, knowledge and stories that connect generations and strengthen the future.
