SLIDE Youth Dance Theatre: Someone Else’s Story
11 September @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am AEST

Communities are made up of vulnerable, unique and beautifully flawed people. And that’s a good thing, because it would be boring if we were all the same.
Someone Else’s Story is a sharp, comedic exploration of society’s moral fabric when an ordinary morning train ride quickly derails and the commuters, a band of misfits, find themselves in a very tricky position.
Collectively, they must work together to solve a HUGE dilemma before they reach the end of the train line; strangers when they first stepped into the carriage, and then colleagues, one might say, when the train pulls into the last station.
Caught in the crossfire of conflicting opinions, quiet crushes, prickly personalities and problem solving geniuses, Heather is having a difficult day.
Sometimes, difficult days are made better when you let good people in.
A reimagining of the 2019 hit, this production delivers hilarious storytelling, bold physicality, poignant characters and mandarin essence.
In Someone Else’s Story, you might see the vulnerable, unique and beautiful parts of yourself…
