Dubbed ‘musically combustible’ by Criticks UK, the Camerata brings to life the finest music from the 1500s to today. Enjoy the stunning Haydn Cello Concerto with talented young cellist and past Ryde Eisteddfod winner Justin Shenouda, alongside Vivaldi Four Seasons: Summer with Camerata core soloists Dr Taliesin Coward & Christopher Porteous. Renaissance dances and Baroque music from Holborne to Handel and Telemann take on a new dimension, with the Camerata featuring multi-instrumentalist Daniel Murphy, known to local period-music audiences for his recorder performances with Consort8. Directed by Dr Imogen Coward, the programme is rounded off with a selection of intricate, intense and beautiful vocal works by Mozart, Handel and more.
