Life Could Be A Dream: ‘Life Could Be A Dream’ (2026) – Red Carpet Premiere | Preview Screening (Melbourne)
30 April @ 8:00 pm - 1 May @ 10:00 pm AEST

Following the screening, audiences will be invited to stay for a special in-conversation Q&A with key cast and creatives.
At forty, Sarah stands at the threshold of a life she’s never lived – one defined by her own choices rather than someone else’s expectations. As her thirteen-year-old son Otis crosses into manhood, mother and son embark on parallel journeys of self-discovery, each learning what it means to be free.
Life Could Be A Dream explores the complexity of reinvention. It’s about the intricate dance between a mother and son redefining their relationship, the fantasy worlds we retreat into when reality overwhelms, and the gradual, difficult work of reclaiming a life on her own terms.
This is about breaking cycles: A mother attempts to model strength for her son while she’s still learning for herself how much to hold on to and how much to let go.
SPECIAL Q&A:
Following the screening, audiences will be invited to stay for a special in-conversation Q&A with key cast and creatives, and a representative from Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand.
