Australian National Academy of Music: Masterclass – Lutosławski Quartet
3 June @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm AEST

Each year, ANAM presents a series of masterclasses by some of the world’s leading classical instrumentalists and pedagogues, given as part of their work with our musicians on repertoire, technique and performance. These are up-close, ‘open lesson’ style masterclasses open to a public audience, offering priceless insights into the secrets that lie behind a great performance – and unique learning opportunities for music lovers and aspiring musicians alike.
Taking its name from 20th-century master Witold Lutosławski, the Lutosławski Quartet was founded in 2007 and is now one of Poland’s leading string quartets. As the resident ensemble of the National Forum of Music in Wrocław, the group has built an international reputation for its precision, expressiveness and commitment to contemporary music.
