Hungarian-born pianist Julie Adam presents an interesting and unusual program titled The Bartók Connection. As well as works by Bartók there will be pieces by composers with whom he had a connection during the early 1900s: Hungarian composers such as Dohnányi, Kodály, Léo Weiner and those from abroad, Peter Warlock, Delius, Amy Beach and Leopold Godowsky. The pianist will also play her own piece, Homage to Bartók.
