Mornington Peninsula Theatre Co: Rossum’s Universal Robots
8 July @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm AEST

Before Artificial Intelligence dominated our daily headlines, one visionary play predicted it all. This season, Mornington Peninsula Theatre Company inc. brings Karel Čapek’s legendary sci-fi masterpiece, R.U.R. (Rossum’s Universal Robots), to the Mornington stage for a strictly limited season.
Delivering a darkly comic and highly satirical look at what it truly means to be human, this urgent revival serves as a hilarious yet cautionary tale about the dangers of letting technology run rampant. Brought to life by a stellar cast of local Peninsula creatives, the production blends sharp wit with retro-futuristic style to examine our modern tech obsessions. Audiences can witness the robot revolution unfold at Bellamy Hall from 8-12 July.
