Step into the world of Sun Records and experience the rise of rock ‘n’ roll through the eyes of its legendary founder, Sam Phillips. Told through Sam, his assistant Marion Keisker, and the iconic musicians he discovered, Sons of Sun brings to life the stories and songs that changed music forever.
Featuring a three-piece live band led by CC Hall, with Murray Cook on guitar and Phil Hall on bass, the show delivers 35 unforgettable hits from Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, and more, all performed live, capturing the raw energy of the Sun Records era.
Matt Charleston stars as the tenacious Sam Phillips, with Elena Smaniotto and Ben Maclaine taking on multiple roles, from Marion Keisker to Howlin’ Wolf.
