Sydney Fringe Festival: SPRFRK
24 September @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm AEST

A pink car, a Barbie picnic van, and a girl trying to grab the steering wheel of her own life. A sparkly solo performance with loud exhausts and big feelings.
Who knew that a childhood toy could spark an internal crisis. Childhood memory collides with Disney princesses, revving pink engines, and the myth of happily ever after on a hot pink road to self discovery.
SPRFRK (Superfreak) was a hot pink 2000 Ford Laser with silver rims, a loud exhaust, and black-and-gold number plates. More emotionally significant than most men I’ve dated. Loud, messy, feminine and impossible to ignore.
She demands to be seen. Or maybe I do.
Kate Bobis brings you her first full length solo performance. Expect theatrical storytelling, superfreaky surprises, dance numbers and an overwhelming amount of hot pink.
