Byron Theatre Company: Tirra Lirra by the River
13 June @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm AEST

Nora is back — but this is no quiet homecoming.
When she reluctantly returns to the Australian house where she grew up, Nora finds the past waiting. Forced into a reckoning with the choices she has made, she sifts through the lives she has led to understand the woman she has become.
In this bold adaptation, directors Heather Fairbairn and Kate Wild collaborate with acclaimed stage and screen actor Toni Scanlan to reimagine an Australian classic. Using immersive audio-visual design, Tirra Lirra by the River moves from jazz-age Sydney to post-war London, creating a vivid meditation on memory, identity and belonging.
