Eivind Aadland has extended his contract as Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra for another two years, until December 2028. He took up the appointment in 2020.

Joanne Kee has been appointed as the new Artistic Director of Sydney’s Seymour Centre. Known for her work as Executive and Creative Producer of Riverside’s National Theatre of Parramatta, Kee’s career spans more than three decades in theatre, music and dance management. Her previous roles include Artistic Director of the Sydney Improvised Music Association (SIMA), where she founded the Sydney International Women’s Jazz Festival, and senior leadership positions with the Sydney Opera House, The Song Company, Café Carnivale and the contemporary dance research centre, Critical Path.
