Who better to discuss the world of string quartet music than the members of a leading string quartet? The Australian String Quartet is testing the theory with a new podcast, Inner Voices with the Australian String Quartet.

Asked how it came about, the Quartet’s Creative Producer, Samuel Jozeps, tells Limelight, “As a team, ASQ is always chatting, scheming and dreaming about things we can do to bring people closer, and podcasting has been on our minds for a few years. As a medium, I find podcasting equal parts inspiring, fascinating and convenient to consume, and Inner Voices has been a project that, along with our team and the support of a private family foundation, I have loved bringing to fruition.”

“Something that was also important to us was engaging a wide range of artists to contribute, and this season features newly commissioned reinterpretations of the featured works by six South Australian artists. Prior to my current position at the ASQ, I worked in strategy, marketing and programming roles for various arts companies, and freelanced as a filmmaker, photographer and content creator, so this project felt natural for me to see through.”
