On 13 October, Marshall McGuire delivered the 2025 Peggy Glanville-Hicks address at APRA AMCOS’s Sydney base during a ceremony presented by the Australian Music Centre. The winners of the 2025 Paul Lowin Prizes were also announced.

McGuire is an accomplished harpist, teacher and arts administrator who currently serves as Chair of the Australian Music Centre. A pioneer of new Australian music, he has been a member of contemporary classical group ELISION Ensemble since 1998. This month, he was also appointed to the role of Artistic Advisor (Music & Opera) for Adelaide Festival.
