The Australian Boys Choir has announced its 2026 concert season. Under the artistic direction of Nicholas Dinopoulos, the Melbourne-based choir will deliver a season anchored by Bach’s St John Passion and a rare Australian appearance by leading British vocal ensemble The Gesualdo Six.

The season opens with two performances of St John Passion in March, marking the Choir’s second triennial collaboration with period ensemble Genesis Baroque. Bach’s dramatic setting of the Passion narrative will be presented on Saturday 28 March at Ballarat Central Uniting Church, followed by a Sunday 29 March performance at St Andrew’s Church, Brighton.
