The remaining dates of the Australian national tour of Beetlejuice The Musical have been cancelled, with producers announcing that the production will no longer continue beyond the current Brisbane season.
In a statement issued to ticket holders, the production apologised to audiences who had been looking forward to seeing the show and thanked fans for their “enthusiasm and support”.

Performances at Brisbane’s Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) will continue as scheduled up to and including both performances on Sunday 5 July. Customers unable to attend a revised performance date will receive a full refund, with refunds automatically processed for Brisbane ticket holders who do not make alternative arrangements by 5 July.
The cancellation brings an end to the planned national tour of the stage adaptation of Tim Burton’s cult 1988 film, which had been scheduled to visit Perth, Adelaide and Sydney following its Brisbane season.
Ticket holders in those three cities will have their purchases — including refundable tickets and show packages where applicable — automatically refunded in full to the original payment method. No action is required from customers, with funds expected to appear within five business days, although some refunds may take up to 20 business days to process.
The production team said customers should refer to communications from their relevant ticketing providers for further information regarding refund processing.
