Brisbane Festival has revealed its full contemporary music program for 2025, one spotlighting a host of homegrown and international talent across some of the city’s most iconic venues.

Returning to The Tivoli, Tivoli in the Round will once again transform the legendary venue into a 360-degree concert space, kicking off on 5 September with Brisbane pop star Mallrat. Other Tivoli highlights include the return of Phantastic Ferniture (9 September), bluesman C.W. Stoneking (10 September), Scottish techno artist Franck (12 September), and electronic innovator Odd Mob (13 September).

At Brisbane Powerhouse, violinist Véronique Serret will perform her ARIA-nominated album Migrating Bird on 14 September with didgeridoo player William Barton. That same day, 100 Guitars will unite 100 local musicians for a site-specific sound installation. Later in the month, JADE Ensemble will premiere the intercultural work Kyo-Wa, Harmonic Resonance (18 September), followed by Hannah Macklin’s dreamy new project on 20 September.
