Luminescence Chamber Singers has announced its 2025 season. For its 10th anniversary year, the ensemble offers two new concert programs, three new premieres, one tour and a Christmas classic.

From 22 March – 5 April, Gesualdo Tenebrae celebrates the music of Carlo Gesualdo, whose music bridges between the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The singers will perform his Tenebrae Responsories, a nine-part set that uses striking harmonic dissonance that didn’t become commonplace until much later in the musical canon.
On 15 June, Luminescence celebrates its 10th anniversary with a Birthday Gala at Albert Hall on 15 June. The Luminescence Children’s Choir and Chamber Singers will perform a program that includes a world premiere of a specially-commissioned work by Elena Kats-Chernin.
Next, Garden of Earthly Delights (21 September – 12 October) takes inspiration from Hieronymous Boch’s surreal, intricate triptych De turn de lusteni.
