Omega Ensemble has appointed Michael Napthali as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Napthali brings more than 30 years’ experience across senior roles in the arts, government and philanthropy. His career spans media and entertainment law, the commercial music sector, screen industries and public policy, where he has worked closely with artists, boards and funding partners in Australia and internationally.

Chairman Norman Gillespie said the appointment marked a significant moment for the ensemble. He noted that Napthali, alongside recently appointed Head of Marketing Amy Church, would help drive a new phase of growth, expanding audiences and strengthening the company’s reputation for critically acclaimed performance.
Artistic Director David Rowden welcomed the appointment, highlighting Napthali’s strategic expertise as the ensemble looks to broaden its national touring program, increase commissioning activity and deepen engagement with audiences and supporters.
