SeasonPreview: Your guide to the arts in 2025

Orchestra Victoria has revealed its 2025 concert season, the first full program the ensemble has offered in more than 10 years.

Under the direction of Jessica Gethin, who took the helm as Artistic Advisor six months ago, the season announcement promises a blend of new concert concepts, collaborations and classical masterpieces designed to capture a broader audience.

The 2025 season is a deliberate profile raiser for Orchestra Victoria, which is best known for its regular work in the pit for Australia’s leading ballet and opera companies.

“We have an outstanding reputation for our work in the pit, but our impact extends far beyond that,” said Gethin. “Season 2025 is about bringing all that we do to a wider audience.”
