Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival: Concert Four

Over four days and seven concerts, Hobart’s St George’s Church and the Hedberg Performing Arts Centre play host to pianists Piers Lane and Aura Go, violinist Emily Sun, flautist Joshua Batty, tenor Kyle Stegall, cellist Li-Wei Qin, Tasmanian ensemble Van Diemen’s Band and Chroma Quartet. The program spans three centuries, from Bach’s cantatas and concertos to the Australian premiere of Camille Pépin’s Si je te quitte, nous nous souviendrons. A Festival Prelude will be held in Richmond on the preceding weekend with Van Diemen’s Band alongside the Orava and Xyris Quartets and music including Wojciech Kilar’s Orawa.
