Phoenix Central Park: Hanuelle Lovell x Reuben Tsang
15 August @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm AEST

Haneulle Lovell and Reuben Tsang have worked together in many diverse settings since beginning their tertiary studies in 2022. First collaborating as first-year students at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, they have since worked together on multiple occasions as a duo, winning the Basil Jones Sonata Prize in 2024 for their performance of Prokofiev Sonata No.1 in F Minor for Violin and Piano, as well as curating and performing lunchtime concerts.
They have also appeared as part of the Orleigh Quartet, a group which travelled to Montreal for the Musical Chairs Chamber Festival in 2024 and received mentorship from members of the Takacs Quartet and Cuarteto Quiroga. The duo also performed as Fellows at the inaugural Megalong Music Festival and enjoyed collaborating with esteemed musicians including Kristian Winther and Lisa Grosman.
Reuben and Haneulle’s contributions to the Queensland Conservatorium community through their passion for chamber music was recognised in 2024 as they were named co-recipients of the Conservatorium Medal. They are excited to be touring Australia in 2026 to share their music-making with audiences in Adelaide, Cairns, Melbourne and Sydney.
