Rosanne Hunt: String Trios of Mozart and Schubert, Beethoven’s Eyeglass Duo for viola and cello
18 October @ 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm AEDT

Three of Melbourne’s top string players, Finnish virtuoso violinist Jaso Sasaki, former principal viola of ACO Caroline Henbest (now staff member at ANAM) and well-known cellist Rosanne Hunt, join forces to present Mozart’s rich and exquisite Divertimento for String Trio, Schubert’s beautiful String Trio D581, and Beethoven’s witty so-called Eyeglass Duo for cello and viola. (The short-sighted viola-playing Beethoven wrote this for his similarly eyesight-challenged friend and cellist Nikolaus Zmeskall von Domanowecz, and they played it together for fun…it was never intended to be published.) Ticket price includes very good post-concert refreshments.
