With more than 100 million TikTok views and hailed as “one of the absolute shooting stars of the international opera scene”, countertenor Maayan Licht makes his Australian debut in Coloratura Queen, presented by Live at Yours.

Launching the company’s new Up Late concept, this one-hour late-night performance transforms Sydney’s Great Synagogue into an intimate after-hours concert experience.

Joined by acclaimed keyboardist Neal Peres Da Costa and a hand-picked Baroque ensemble, Licht performs music by Handel, Vivaldi, Porpora and Broschi in a programme showcasing the virtuosity, drama and expressive power of the Baroque voice. Repertoire may include favourites such as Vivaldi’s Vedrò con mio diletto, Handel’s Da tempeste il legno infranto and Broschi’s Son qual nave, with the possibility of an unexpected contemporary twist.
