The Canberra Choral Society (CCS) welcomes Spring with Wanderlust, featuring music inspired by place, landscape, travel and the natural world.
The concert includes the world premiere of a new CCS commission, Arboretum for choir, flute and piano by Dan Walker, celebrating memorable and meaningful aspects of the beautiful National Arboretum Canberra.
Also included are evocative works by Anton Bruckner, Eric Whitacre, Lili Boulanger, Edward Elgar, Arthur Sullivan, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Sally Whitwell, and more.
The CCS choir will be joined by renowned flautist Sally Walker and acclaimed pianist Anthony Smith, conducted by Dan Walker.
