WA Youth Orchestra: West Meets East
1 June @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm AEST

The heartbeat of the old world meets the high-wire energy of the new.
The WA Youth Orchestra presents a high-octane program featuring the raw emotion of Tchaikovsky’s 6th Symphony, the timeless tragedy of Prokofiev’s Romeo & Juliet, and the rhythmic drive of John Adams’ The Chairman Dances. From the shattering heights of tragedy to the hypnotic pulse of the 20th century, this is large-scale orchestral music at its most electrifying.
Witness 100 musicians on stage in a breathtaking race between tradition and the future.
