The Concourse: When Mum & Dad Were Kids A Musical Journey Through Generations Performed by all
20 June @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm AEST

When Mum & Dad Were Kids
A musical journey through the childhood of a generation. Step into a joyful musical journey through time and rediscover the childhood memories of Mum and Dad. Presented by the students of Penny’s Happy Mandarin, this vibrant family production brings beloved songs from the 80s and 90s back to life through lively singing, energetic dance, and heartwarming storytelling. Each performance celebrates the music that shaped a generation and the memories that families cherish together.
More than a concert, this special show is a celebration of family, language, and culture. As children perform the songs their parents once grew up with, music becomes a beautiful bridge connecting generations, while making the learning of Chinese a shared family experience.
Filled with laughter, nostalgia, and the warmth of childhood, When Mum & Dad Were Kids invites audiences to travel back in time and relive the joyful spirit of growing up.
