Sydney Opera House: Za Górami
4 October @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm AEDT

Connected to the jazz world but inhabiting her own distinctive realm, singer, violinist and composer Alice Zawadzki draws on an intricate tapestry of influences from ancient melodies, folk, chamber music and jazz in a stunning collaboration with Fred Thomas on piano and drums and Misha Mollov-Abbado on double bass.
The trio’s debut album, Za Górami, was hailed by The Guardian as “an extraordinary debut album from a trio of extraordinary musicians who have brought together a multi-genre music that encompasses classical leanings (all three participants are from classically trained backgrounds), jazz, improvisation and folk song in a recording that is utterly spellbinding and has the narrative of short stories as its thematic concept.”
In a mesmerising live performance in the Opera House’s intimate Utzon room, the supergroup trio brings to life the music of their critically acclaimed album. This stunning performance will transport you to another world.
