Dr Jaclyn Hartenberger has joined the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music as its new Associate Professor of Wind Conducting. She brings more than two decades’ experience as a wind symphony conductor and educator in the US, during which she demonstrated innovative conducting and teaching techniques and advocated for the community impact of music.

Queensland Performing Arts Centre has appointed two senior arts leaders to key executive roles. With a long history of executive producing across Queensland, Katrina Torenbeek is stepping into the role of Director – Engagement; a move from her previous position as QPAC Head of Engagement. 

Sydney arts leader Ellen Kavanagh, who has a career spanning festivals, major performing arts centres and commercial theatre here and overseas, has commenced as Director – Programming.  

Jennifer Greer Holmes has been appointed as the new Artistic Director/Co-CEO of Vitalstatistix. She has spent more than 15 years working at the Port Adelaide-based company, most recently as Creative Producer.
