Creative Partnerships Australia has announced the six recipients of the 2022 Creative Partnerships Awards, with UKARIA founder Ulrike Klein and Biennale of Sydney CEO, Barbara Moore, amongst this year’s winners.

Creative Partnerships Australia revealed that in 2021, the Australian Cultural Fund received a record-breaking $9.5 million in donations. Through over 500 campaigns, the ACF received funding from 9,192 art lovers and philanthropists, of whom 8,201 had given their support to the arts for the first time.

“The partnerships and relationships formed between this year’s recipients and the arts organisations they support are characterised by a mutual understanding of the value of the arts and culture in the Australian community,” said Creative Partnerships Australia CEO Fiona Menzies.

Klein received the Arts Visionary Award for her efforts in supporting the sustainability of Australian music and composers. In 2009, Klein founded UKARIA under the name Ngeringa Arts, funding its cultural centre which houses a 220-seat, theatre-style concert hall.
