Marked by four programs, two collaborations and one world premiere, Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra has announced its 2025 season.
Each of its programs will be presented at both the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) and Toowoomba’s Empire Theatre – and in classic Camerata fashion, a Wild Card Mystery Guest is set to appear for the first two programs of the season.

To kick off the season, Artistic Director Brendan Joyce takes the spotlight for Schumann’s Violin Concerto in A minor across 12–13 March. Camerata’s wind, brass and percussion sections also make an appearance for Poulenc’s Sinfonietta and Fanny Mendelssohn’s Overture in C Major.
Camerata will band together with pianist and composer Paul Grabowsky on 3–7 May as a part of his two-year partnership with Queensland Performing Arts Centre; the resulting program, The Art of the Possible, celebrates the 40th anniversary of the venue.
